I’ve been in the trenches of business for over 25 years, leading large teams, driving operational excellence, and building high-performing cultures. Before launching Home Service Coaching Pros, I served as the Head of Talent Management at DISH Network, a Fortune 200 company, where I coached C-suite executives and built leadership development systems that scaled across thousands of employees.
But I’m not some ivory tower consultant. From my 16+ years in home improvement retail, I know how to roll up my sleeves and work side by side with owners in the trades—HVAC, plumbing, roofing, landscaping, electrical, remodeling—helping them solve real problems in sales, operations, team building, and cash flow.

I've had an entrepreneurial mindset from an early age, beginning with the lemonade stand and selling snacks at the local watering hole (a creek!), a paper route when I was 12, and then in network marketing while in college. Calling the shots and working towards a dream are exciting…and it can be very scary as well.
Working in retail gave me a great education in customer service, business acumen, and sales and merchandising. As I took on leadership roles, that learning grew and included operations, human resources, and team management.
I found my passion for leadership and the massive impact leaders can have on a business (both good and bad), and I became a lifelong student of leadership development. After leaving retail in 2013, I got my coaching certification and began my own practice. While I had some success, I quickly realized that my education was incomplete. There was more I wanted to experience so I could serve others more effectively.
Taking a role in sales was a necessary step. I chose credit card processing as the business to join, and got to know many small business owners in a variety of industries. The surface problems were varied by industry, but the core challenges were always very similar. Causes of our effects (results) are where we need to focus.
After a while in sales, I transitioned into a role as an internal coach and leadership trainer, growing into an HR leader for a large enterprise. This experience was invaluable as it allowed me to learn how to leverage the single most important asset any business has…its people.
Over the past decade, I have worked with Fortune 500 executive leaders and business owners running companies from $250k - $100M+ in revenue. I have trained over 4,000 leaders on five continents and helped scale an internal coaching program in a large enterprise.
My not-even-close-to-linear career path has helped me develop a variety of skills that uniquely allow me to help others achieve high performance in their businesses and lives. Through my roles in operations, sales, human resources, coaching and leadership development, I have honed my understanding of the strategic challenges that leaders and business owners face today.
